1. Who we are
Progression Labs Ltd ("we", "us") is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 15381997, with our registered office at 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, and registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under number ZB799677. 2. What we collect, and why
When you contact us
If you email us or use the contact form on this site, we collect your name, work email address, company details (name and, if you choose to tell us, your role, industry, and organisation size), and whatever you write to us. Form submissions also record how you reached us: the page you submitted from, the referring site, and any campaign tags in the link you followed. When you use the form we send you a confirmation email with a copy of your message. We use it to respond to you and, where relevant, to follow up about working together. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (UK GDPR / GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
When you browse the site
Our pages set no cookies. We measure how the site is used with PostHog, an analytics service hosted in the EU, configured without cookies or device storage: your IP address is processed on receipt to derive an approximate location and is not stored, events are anonymous, and nothing identifies you across visits. Our hosting provider also keeps short-lived server logs, including IP addresses, for security and delivery. Lawful basis for both: our legitimate interest in running and understanding the site (Article 6(1)(f)). Embedded videos load from YouTube only if you choose to play them, in privacy-enhanced mode; YouTube may process technical data when you do. See the cookie policy.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not send marketing newsletters. If that changes, we will ask for separate, explicit consent first.
- We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.
4. Who processes data for us
We use a small number of service providers to run this site and our business, acting under contract as processors:
- Vercel Inc. (USA) - website hosting on a global edge network
- Google LLC (Google Workspace, USA) - email and enquiry handling
- PostHog, Inc. (USA; analytics data hosted in Frankfurt, Germany) - cookieless site analytics
- Plus Five Five, Inc. (d/b/a Resend, USA; sending routed via Ireland) - delivery of contact-form submissions to our inbox
Embedded YouTube videos are provided by Google acting as an independent controller under Google's privacy policy, not as our processor; nothing loads from YouTube unless you play a video.
Where a provider processes personal data outside the UK or EEA, we rely on that provider's certification under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; our contracts also incorporate the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the applicable UK addendum as a fallback. You can request details, or a copy, of the safeguard applying to a particular provider at privacy@progressionlabs.com.
5. How long we keep it
- Business enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted.
- Contractual and accounting records: as required by law.
6. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and, where it applies, the EU GDPR, you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing of it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where consent is our basis. To exercise any of these, contact privacy@progressionlabs.com. We respond within one month.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority: in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk); in the EU, your local data protection authority.
7. Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be flagged clearly.
